Robert has handled numerous mediations and arbitrations, and has successfully argued cases before the Nevada Supreme Court, the Utah Court of Appeals and the Utah Supreme Court.

One such case that affected self-insured employers and governmental entities throughout the State of Nevada is MGM MIRAGE, A DELAWARE CORPORATION; AND STEEL ENGINEERS, INC., A NEVADA CORPORATION, Appellants, vs. NEVADA INSURANCE GUARANTY ASSOCIATION, A NONPROFIT UNINCORPORATED NEVADA ENTITY, Respondent, 125 Nev. Adv. Op. No. 22, June 25, 2009, where it was determined that self-insured employers purchasing excess insurance can recover from the Nevada's workers compensation entity guaranteeing insolvent insurer claims.
